Masaru Takeda is currently slated to return to the active roster in time for a start during the Orix series that begins the 27th.  Hisashi Takeda is expected to return to Ichi-gun for the Softbank series that starts on the 23rd.

Bobby Keppel will get a few more outings at Ni-gun.  The team is hoping he will be ready to return to the active roster some time during Inter-league play.

With Ni-gun pitching coach Takeharu Kato standing on home plate, Yuki Saito tossed fifty pitches in the bullpen on Saturday.

"I still have some concerns, but the pain is more or less gone," said Saito.  "[I think I can begin pitching practices some time] next week or the week after.  I am capable of pitching in a game, but I am still in the process of solidifying my mechanics."

Hiroki Yamada was taken off the active roster today for a chance to work through some of his issues at Ni-gun.

Daichi Suzuki tied a PL record (held by five others) on Saturday by hitting a triple in his third straight game.  He was also the third player in franchise history to achieve the feat.

Orix Buffaloes

Yuki Nishi was removed from Saturday's game against Softbank when he popped a blister on his right middle finger while playing catch in between innings.  He is not expected to miss his next turn in the rotation.

Kei Igawa participated in pre-game workouts on Saturday and tossed a bullpen session in front of the coaches.
