Pacific League does not want to shorten Inter-league schedule

by on Apr.22, 2013 @ 11:36 pm, under NPB

The Pacific League met on the 18th and discussed the Central League's recommendation to cut Inter-league games from twenty-four to eighteen.  The PL would like to keep the current twenty-four game format but is willing to consider other options to improve the schedule, like splitting up the Inter-league season (first-half and second-half) or changing the way make-up dates are scheduled (pushing the make-up dates to the fall).
