Orix Buffaloes

Kei Igawa is scheduled to start a Ni-gun game against Softbawnk on the 24th.  He was initially assigned today's start, but he turned it down because of the early start time (10:10am).  Last year, he started a morning Ni-gun game on April 24 and gave up four runs on seven hits over five innings of work.

Igawa tossed sixty-one pitches in the bullpen on Monday.  About seventy percent were out of the strike zone.  He made some adjustments to his mechanics (in particular, his upper body) with help from pitching coach Takashi Nishimoto.
