Rakuten Eagles

Kenji Tomura started a Ni-gun game against Seibu on Monday.  He pitched seven innings, threw eighty-four pitches, and allowed two runs on seven hits.  Tomura pitched well in his last outing (eight shutout innings against Lotte on the 4th), but missed a week with the chickenpox.  He will have to pitch in at least one more Ni-gun game before he gets another shot at the active roster.
