One player has hit three or more homers in a game fifteen times (accomplished by ten players) in franchise history.  Before Nakata, Atsunori Inaba was the last player to achieve the feat on April 8, 2009 vs Lotte.  The last right-handed Nippon Ham hitter before Nakata was Junichi Kashiwabara in 1982.  At twenty-four years and zero months, Nakata is the youngest player in franchise history to hit three homers in a game -- he broke the previous record of twenty-four years and ten months set by In-Cheon Baek in 1968.

Inaba was eligible to return to the active roster today, but will, after speaking to coaches on Friday, spend a couple more days at Ni-gun to work on his hitting -- he did not play in the Futures game on Friday, but did participate in pre-game batting practice and fielding practice; he is scheduled to play in a Ni-gun game against Yomiuri on the 6th.

Inaba could return to the active roster on the 8th.
