I haven’t seen anything on the JWBL site about how Tomoko Tanaka is doing after that hard crash into the stands, so I assume she is relatively OK. Are other outlets mentioning her status at all?

The things that made me a bit nervous about it was that: 1) She seemed to get bent from the neck when she hit the ground and her legs went over the top and
        2) She had her head down as she was being walked off the field and it looked like that maybe she was still a bit out of it. Surely, if it was that bad news would have come down by now, through the players blogs if nothing else…

I think two players have posted updates on the team blog since the end of the game on Saturday and neither have mentioned anything about Tanaka. There might be some sort of rule where players are not allowed to comment on injuries, but it could be an indication that she is ok.

I can’t imagine the team not saying anything, or there not being some sort of a leak, if it was a serious injury.
