Yakult Swallows

Takahiro ArakiTetsuto Yamada, Wataru Hiyane, and Masayoshi Miwa participated in extra fielding practices at Jingu Stadium today.  Araki and Yamada each committed three errors in Sunday's game against Nippon Ham.

Junji Ogawa spent about fifty-three minutes hitting 198 grounders.

Shinya Miyamoto posted a message on his blog today to let fans know that his elbow is fine and that he expects to make it back into the starting line-up on Wednesday.  He also wrote that while the team was not playing at a high level right now, they still needed to play well enough to at least satisfy the fans that pay money to watch their games.
