Nippon Ham Fighters

Eiichi Koyano was replaced by a pinch-hitter in the 4th inning of Thursday's game against the Hanshin Tigers because he felt dizzy.  He was examined at a hospital in Sapporo and told that fatigue was the cause of his dizziness.  He was excused from practices today and rested at his home.

Seibu Lions

Yasuyuki Kataoka was taken off the active roster today with pain in the back of his left knee.  The pain is in the same area he hurt earlier this year in April.  He had been getting treatment and was able to play through it, but may have re-injured it during Thursday's game against Chunichi.
