Chunichi Dragons

Warner Madrigal is scheduled to make his NPB debut in a Ni-gun game against Hiroshima on the 22nd.

Takuya Asao (right shoulder) could pitch an inning in a Ni-gun game on the 23rd (vs Hiroshima).  Asao tossed situational batting practice on Thursday -- he threw twenty-six pitches to Sang-Hoon Song.

Hiroshima Carp

The Carp are planning to go with a six-man rotation for the time being -- they want to give Kenta Maeda and Bryan Bullington six days of rest in between each of their starts to avoid re-injury.

Through Thursday, the Tigers have added forty-three players to the active roster and removed forty players.  They added seventy-four players and removed seventy-one players all of last season.

Yokohama Bay Stars

Norihiro Nakamura is open to playing short if needed.  He last played short in a game on August 17, 2002.  He also played second for the first time in his pro career during his first year with Yokohama on October 13, 2011.
