Nippon Ham Fighters

Mitsuo Yoshikawa was removed from Saturday's game partway through the 3rd inning because of cramps in both his calves and his left hamstring.  Yoshikawa experienced similar problems during a start against Chunichi on May 15.  The chief trainer told reporters he thought the cramps were caused by dehydration.

There is a good chance Yoshikawa will miss his next start on the 28th against Seibu at Sapporo Dome.
