Yudai Ono was sent down to Ni-gun in May because he was having problems with a blood blister on his left middle finger.  The problem: when throwing the two-seamer, the ball was getting caught on the side area near the fingernail and was causing damage to the skin.

Ogawa is the first rookie in franchise history to record his seventh victory of the season in June.  He has also been a better pitcher on the road than at home this season: 3-1 with a 4.86 ERA at home and 4-1 with a 1.48 ERA on the road.  The four road victories actually accounts for half of the team's eight (8-22-1) road victories this season (as of Saturday).
