Takahashi connected for his thirty-second home run out of the clean-up spot (first since August 21, 2011 vs Yakult). ... Daiki Kiyohara will most likely receive about 60,000 yen in extra salary for his one day on the active roster on Thursday -- according to the rules, players on the active roster must make at least fifteen million yen, but since Kiyohara is only making six million, the team is required the pay the difference (fifteen million minus six million multiplied by 150 days in a season).
