Hanshin: The Tigers' two-game winning streak came to an end.  This was the third time they allowed ten or more runs in a game this year. ... Fujinami's personal two-game winning streak came to an end with his first loss in three starts since his last loss on June 23 (vs Yokohama).  He is 1-2 in four starts against the Swallows this season.  This was the first non-Sunday start.

Yakult: The Swallows snapped a five-game losing streak.  They also stopped a four-game losing streak against the Tigers. ...
