Orix Buffaloes

The media learned on Friday that assistant director Ryuzo Setoyama will be taking over as head of baseball operations (beginning with this year's draft).  Director Yoshio Murayama was also in charge of team operations, but has lately been involved in other activities.  By giving Setoyama a more active role, Murayama will be able to focus more on his role as director.  There is a good chance the organization will also set up a new GM position for Setoyama after the season.
