Shota Oba started a Ni-gun game against Hiroshima on Wednesday and gave up five runs (four earned) on nine hits over 4.1 innings of work.  He struck out two.  He is currently slated to start an Ichi-gun game on the 16th against Nippon Ham.  Kazuyuki Hoashi was also an option to get the start, but he gave up seven runs (all earned) on nine hits and two walks over three innings of work during a Ni-gun game against Hiroshima on Tuesday.
