Nobutaka Imamura is scheduled to make his Ichi-gun debut in a start against Hiroshima at Mazda Stadium on the 16th.

Chunichi Dragons

The Dragons dropped another game at Nagoya Dome today and can no longer finish the season with an above-.500 record at home.   This will be their first losing season at home since 2002.

The Dragons have started discussing the 2014 season with some of their core group of veteran players.  On Friday, the front office spent about ninety minutes with Masahiro Araki.

Yakult Swallows

Shinya Miyamoto spent about forty minutes working with Keizo Kawashima and Tetsuto Yamada on their bunt techniques after Friday night's game against the Hanshin Tigers.

Hiroshima Carp

Seiya Suzuki was added to the active roster today.  He is the first rookie out of high school in franchise history to make the Ichi-gun roster in their first year since since Akihiro Higashide in 1999.

Kenta Maeda's next three starts will most likely come on four and five days of rest.  His potential schedule: the 15th on four days of rest (vs Yomiuri at Mazda Stadium); the 21st (vs Yomiuri at Tokyo Dome) on five days of rest; and the 26th (vs Chunichi at Nagoya Dome) on four days of rest.
