Yuki Saito started a Ni-gun game against Lotte at Kamagaya today and gave up nine runs on seven hits, four walks, and an HBP over 2.1 innings of work. He gave up a run on a sac fly in the 2nd and then allowed eight runs in the 3rd on six hits, including a three-run homer and a bases loaded walk.
1st inning - one hit, one walk, no runs

2nd inning - no hits, one walk, one run
BB, HBP, G1f (SB), SF8 (RBI), Ks
3rd inning - six hits, two walks, eight runs (left with the bases loaded, all runners ended up scoring)

Sponichi has posted a couple of quotes from Saito:
I thought I threw the ball like I did [in previous games], but the pitches did not work for me today.
We are near the end of the season so the only thing I can do is my best. I am thinking about different kinds of things, but may be that is not good.
When asked what kind of things he had to work on, he replied: "Hmm... Well, just about everything I think."
