Nippon Ham Fighters

According to Sports Hochi, thirty-seven-year-old Tomohiro Nioka is not a part of the Fighters' plans for the 2014 season.  The organization is expected to formally inform the veteran of their decision within the next couple of days.

The Fighters could also part ways with Brian Wolfe.  A large part of that may be money related -- he is making 150 million yen plus performance bonuses this season.  According to people near to the situation, Wolfe does enjoy playing for the Fighters, but may also be open to playing for other NPB teams.  There are also rumors that is not interested in returning to the Majors and is ok with ending his career in Japan.

Seibu Lions

Yasuyuki Kataoka has hit two walk-off home runs in his career and both have come off Daisuke Kato: July 11, 2009 vs Orix and September 25, 2013 vs Rakuten.

The Lions have won back-to-back games on walk-offs three times this season: May 31 and June 1 vs Yakult; August 17 and 18 vs Rakuten; and September 24 and 25 against Rakuten.
