Yomiuri Giants

There are currently no plans to add Michihiro Ogasawara and Yoshitomo Tani to the active roster.  Neither played in Friday's Ni-gun game against Lotte and Saturday was the last day of the Ni-gun regular season.  This could be an indication that the Giants are not planning to use either player during the postseason.

The Giants announced on Thursday that at home will be a sponsor of the Final Stage of the Climax Series.  The official name of the series will be the 2013 at home Climax Series Ce Final Stage.  The following shortened versions are also allowed: 2013 at home Climax Ce Final Stage and 2013 at home CS Ce Final Stage.
