Latest on Yu Darvish, from ESPN's Todd Willis:
Texas Rangers pitcher Yu Darvish had an injection Wednesday for a nerve issue in his lower back, and he will be re-evaluated after he returns from Japan in November.
The Rangers expect Darvish to be ready for spring training, general manager Jon Daniels said Thursday morning.
[...] Daniels said the problem started in August but that Darvish decided not to have the injection toward the end of the season because he didn't want to miss a start. The GM also said Darvish's injury is not similar to the one that caused Opening Day starter Matt Harrison to miss most of the season.

And from CBS DFW Local:
[...] "He had effectively a nerve issue in his lower back that caused him to lose strength after a period of time in his right leg," said Daniels on Thursday. "When I say lose strength, that’s a relevant term. He wasn’t as powerful as he wanted to be."
According to Daniels, the problem first arose in August, though the team was not made aware of it til late in the month.
[...] Darvish traveled back to Japan on Thursday and will be reevaluated when he returns to Dallas next month.
