Yuki Saito threw 115 pitches in the bullpen on Sunday.  It was the most pitches he threw in a session since he arrived in Miyazaki for the Phoenix League.  He is scheduled to start a Phoenix League game against Hanwha on the 17th.

The Fighters announced that they are parting ways with INF/base-running coach Hajime Miki.

Softbank Hawks

The Hawks announced that San-gun manager Hiroshi Ogawa will take over as Ichi-gun head coach, effective from the start of fall practices.

They also named Yoshio Mizukami a San-gun general coach / INF chief coach.  He has been assigned the number eighty.  He will be introduced during a press conference at YafuOku Dome on the 15th.
