Hanshin Tigers

The front office has not been able to narrow down clean-up hitting candidates because none fulfill all of the team's requirements.  They are going to hold off on signing a new bat until they can find someone.  They were initially limiting their searches mostly to triple-A players but may expand their search to players on MLB rosters that are looking for a new place to play.

The Tigers are thinking about bringing Thomas O'Malley back as a batting coach.  If everything goes smoothly and according to plan, O'Malley could begin as early as fall camp.
