Seibu Lions

When Haruki Ihara asked his players if they watched Sunday's Nippon Series game before the start of practice at Seibu Dome on Monday, only five players raised their hands.  He strongly advised all his players to watch the Nippon Series to get a head start on preparations for the 2014 season.

Softbank Hawks

Shota Takeda is planning to head to the US early next year -- he will meet up with Ryota Igarashi in Los Angeles and spend some time working out at Athlete's Performance.  Takeda has an interest in the Majors and this could be a good way for him to see how things are done in the US.
