Tokyo Sports notes that Masahiro Tanaka may be feeling some frustration because of how things have worked out during the post-season.  After his Game 1 start against Lotte during the Final Stage of the Climax Series, there was talk about moving him to the bullpen after the team moved to within one game of advancing.  He told coaches at the time he did not want to pitch in relief and instead wanted to focus on preparing for the Nippon Series.  And yet he still found himself on the mound closing the last game of the Final Stage of the Climax Series.  And when he said he could not start Game 1 of the Nippon Series because he felt he did not have enough time to properly prepare himself, he heard some murmurs from people around him that questioned whether he knew what it meant to be a staff ace.

Tanaka has been dropping hints about his frustrations in his interview answers.
