[10/29/2013] Rumors: Chunichi Dragons, Hiroshima Carp, Nippon Ham Fighters, Softbank Hawks

Chunichi Dragons

Head coach Shigekazu Mori is planning to spend some time in the Dominican Republic checking on available talent (from November 6 until mid-December).  The Dragons could sign up the three foreign players during the off-season -- left-handed starter, right handed reliever, position player.

Hiroshima Carp

Ryuji Yokoyama and Yoshikazu Kura will likely hold onto their international FA options and remain with the Carp.

Kenta Kurihara has not yet decided what to do with his international FA option.  He spoke with team officials on Tuesday.  He wants to play, but first base will most likely be occupied by Kila Ka'aihue next year.

Nippon Ham Fighters

The Yokohama Bay Stars have an interest in Shinya Tsuruoka, as do the Chunichi Dragons.

Softbank Hawks

Katsuki Yamazaki earned his domestic FA option this year.  The organization is currently talking to him, but if things do not work out, they may target Shinya Tsuruoka.
