A Tohoku Earthquake charity event called Baseball Festival -Kizuna- 2013 in Tokyo Dome will take place on November 4. Former professional NPB players will play a game against professional horse jockeys in an effort to raise money to help support victims of the Tohoku Earthquake.
Kazuyoshi Tatsunami will lead the former NPB team while Hisashi Yamada manages the professional jockey team. Hisashi Iwakuma will be a special guest and will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
Among the former players that will be making an appearance:

- Kazunori Yamamoto (Daiei)
- Atsuhiro Motonishi (Hankyu)
- Tsuyoshi Yoda (Chunichi)
- Yukihiro Nishizaki (Nippon Ham)
- Nobuyuki Kagawa (Daiei)
16:00 - Gates open, donations will be collected
16:30 - Jockey practices (about thirty minutes)
17:30 - Ceremony
17:50 - Kumamon stretch exercises
18:00 - Iwakuma ceremonial first pitch
18:00 - Former NPB players vs Professional jockeys
20:40 - Closing ceremony
20:45 - End
