Toru Matsubara, secretary general of the Japan Professional Baseball Players Association (JPBPA), met with the NPB in Nishinomiya, Hyogo on Monday to discuss the new posting system agreement. The two sides were able to exchange their opinions on the agreement and the matter will now be discussed among the players. A decision will likely be made within the next couple of days.
