Yokohama senryokugai Hichiro Morimoto will be working out with the team at fall camp.  The Lions will make a decision on Morimoto before the end of camp on the 20th.  Assuming no problems, the organization is expected to sign the thirty-two-year-old outfielder.

Orix Buffaloes

Team director Ryuzo Setoyama told reporters on Tuesday that they gave Dae-Ho Lee their best offer.  And while he still felt good about their chances, he also said that it could not be helped if he ended up signing with another team.  The Buffaloes expect to hear back from Lee before the end of the month.
