The Hanshin Tigers announced on Friday that they signed both Seung Hwan Oh (31) and Mauro Gomez (29).
According to Sanspo, the Tigers signed Oh to a two-year deal worth a total 850 million yen (includes transfer fee). They could also assign him Kyuji Fujikawa's old number (twenty-two).
Asahi Shimbun notes that Gomez got a one-year deal worth 120 million yen. Yutaka Wada made an appearance on Sun TV's Nekketsu Tigers-to on Friday and said he planned to use him at first and that he would have to win the everyday job.
