Yomiuri Giants

According to Tokyo Sports, there may be some people in the organization that are wondering how effective the Yasuyuki Kataoka signing will be, based on how the team is currently set up (the question is not about his abilities, but rather if what he brings to the table is what the team needs right now, or if what he brings to the table can even be used properly by the team).

Kataoka considered turning down the number eight, but decided he wanted to experience the pressure from wearing the number and face the challenge head on.

The Giants are more or less done making improvements to the team.  There is still a chance they will sign a foreign pitcher.
