The Orix Buffaloes announced today that they signed veteran outfielder Yoshitomo Tani (40). A press conference is scheduled for the 26th.
Tani began his professional career with Orix when he was selected in the second round of the 1996 draft. He was with the organization until he was shipped off to the Yomiuri Giants in a two-for-one trade (Takashi Kamoshida and Masahiro Nagata for Tani).

According to Sanspo, the two sides agreed on a one-year deal worth thirty million yen plus incentives.
