Nippon Ham Fighters

Hideki Kuriyama spoke to kids at an elementary school in Sapporo about their future goals (ten years down the road) on Saturday and said his was to study insects.

Seibu Lions

Ryo Sakata is a fan of Peyoung's Jumbo Big Size Yaki Soba (1,099 kilocalories).  He wants to tone up and plans to cut the large serving of yakisoba from his meals.   He is also trying to add a lot move vegetables to his diet.

Sakata currently weighs about ninety-six kilograms.  He would like to lose about five kilograms.

Softbank Hawks

Yuki Yanagita is a Momoiro Clover Z fan and would like to try to get closer to them by befriending Rakuten's Masahiro Tanaka.

Yasuhiko Yabuta decided to retire in early September since he could not throw the ball due to the pain in his right shoulder.  The pain first started around May of 2012.  He never considered surgery because of his age.
