Takahashi's interaction with the media
Your impression of the Bay Stars.
The players have changed since I last played in Japan, but I thought they had a good line-up. I did well against Yokohama, so I also thought it might be good to keep them as an opponent.
Is there anything you learned in the United States that might help here?
Not just things I learned in the United States, but the last fourteen years have been good. I will try to provide the young players with helpful advice.
What kinds of things did you talk about with [Kiyoshi] Nakahata?
He told me to do my best and to just help lead the young team.
What is your impress of Nakahata?
He will say things are going well, even when things are not going well. He is always looking forward. I want to try and soak up some of that positive-thinking.
