Kota Sumi worked out in Saitama on Thursday.  His father, former professional player Mitsuo Sumi, tossed him about 200 batting practice pitches.

Yoshitomo Tani is still discussing living arrangements with his wife Ryoko.  There is a chance his family (wife and two sons) will not be accompanying him on his move to the Kansai region.

    all 72 home games? Thats awesome! I might actually get to watch a few games this year. Taiwanese TV seems to be broadcast on JustinTV much more than Japanese TV. Unless anyone has any better ideas to watch Fighters games…

    Tried that… but I can’t read Japanese, so I wasn’t sure on some of the things I needed to fill out in order to sign up…

          Yes, there, and I am planning on putting up a seperate site sometime before the start of the season as a catch-all for some non-Lotte NPB stuff I want to share. So it would be there, too. Let’s see if I can get it done :)
