Michael Crotta is scheduled to arrive in Japan in late-January.  He asked the organization if he could visit Sapporo before the start of spring camp in February.

Seibu Lions

Yusei Kikuchi and Nippon Ham's Shohei Otani appeared at a fan event in Hanamaki on Saturday.  During the event, they raffled off autographed items.  When they ran out, the two went the extra distance and gave away the uniforms off their backs.

Tanaka closed out his workouts for 2013 at Kleenex Stadium on Saturday.  He showed up at the facililites at around 11:45am wearing a pink training suit.  Before ending his workouts, he threw twenty-five pitches to a standing catcher in the bullpen.
