Kawasaki wants to learn Spanish and French to help him expand his horizons.

"I will spend time playing with players that speak Spanish and I would like to have more in-depth conversations with them.  I want to study French to make more friends," Munenori said.  "It is important to study to learn things you do not know.  Working hard to play baseball is a given.  Learning languages is also very important."
