Miyagi Prefecture announced that the Eagles provided an economic impact of around twenty-three billion yen last year.   The figure takes into account the number of home games played during the year (sixty-seven regular season, four each Climax Series and Nippon Series), attendance records, ticket prices, and merchandising.  It also factors in other things like the food service industry.
