Shota Takeda, Taiga Kasahara, Shoji Yoshimoto, and Ikusei Masato Sakata ended their bullpen sessions on Saturday because of leg cramps.  Since there are only seven bullpen mounds for twenty-three pitchers, schedules can be a little hectic.  The four had just finished doing some running exercises and may have been dehydrated before the start of their sessions, leading to the cramps.

Tomoki Takata was not feeling well during practices on Saturday.  He had a fever and was diagnosed with a viral gastroentritis on Sunday.  He was sent down to Group B camp.  Kenji Akashi was called up to Group A camp.

Takata should be able to resume workouts after two or three days of rest.
