Yutaka Wada would like to see Minoru Iwata, Daiki Enokida, Naoto Tsuru, and Hirokazu Shiranita combine for at least thirty victories this season.  The same four won ten games last year: Enokida four, Tsuru three, Iwata two, and Shiranita one.

According to Tokyo Sports, Shintaro Fujinami is working on two different kinds of pitching styles: Fujinami A focuses on the hard stuff while Fujinami B is more about changing speeds and getting hitters to put the ball into the play.
