Shoichi Ino hurt his right leg during practices on Tuesday.  The team trainer checked his leg before the start of the day on Wednesday and cleared him for regular workouts.

Shigeru Sugishita told Ino that if he wants to throw the forkball, he should polish his fastball by tossing more curves to improve his wrist action.  The forkball will get better as the fastball improves.
