Mauro Gomez arrived in Japan on Monday.  The Tigers held a press conference for him at their team hotel in Yomitan, Okinawa.  He will join the team for workouts beginning on Tuesday.

Seung Hwan Oh did not do anything throwing on Monday (includes playing catch).  Reporters thought it might be injury-related, but Oh explained that shutting things down the day after bullpen sessions was part of his routine.
