Quick Notes

Tadashi Settsu uses two different cleats.  His right cleat, the one he pushes off of when he throws, has six spikes, three near the heal and three up front.  His left cleat has two more spikes in the front for a total eight.  The extra spikes on the left means better traction for the landing foot.  It also means the right cleat is about five grams lighter than the left (Settsu values stability over balance).

When Settsu placed the order for the cleats, he apparently asked for one pitcher's cleat (right) and one position player's cleat (left).
