He regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital for an evaluation. He was diagnosed with dehydration and received treatment. He was discharged after a day and has since resumed workouts.
The organization issued stern warnings to the Ni-gun coaches and trainers. They have been told to improve conditions to avoid similar incidents in the future.

According to an announcement posted at the Eagles' official site, the incident took place on February 16. Kakizawa was taking extra fielding practices after general workouts and passed out. A trainer rushed to the scene and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation after confirming he was not conscious. He regained consciousness after the third chest compression and was rushed to a hospital.
Kakizawa was diagnosed with loss of consciousness caused by dehydration. He was given a blood test and treated with IV fluids. He remained in the hospital overnight and was discharged on the 17th after a re-evaluation. He returned to practices on the 18th.
The organization issued stern warnings to Kakizawa and Ni-gun staff for their lack of awareness and have asked everyone to be more careful.
