1st round draft pick Yuta Iwasada will be sent down to Ni-gun for additional work.  Source: Sanspo 2/27/2014

According to Sponichi, Iwasada has not been doing a lot of throwing since he pitched in a practice game against Rakuten on the 19th and gave up four runs in an inning of work.  He may be having some problems with his left elbow and the team might be concerned it could become more severe if they allow him to continue pushing through.  Source: Sponichi 2/27/2014
