  • Game called after the top of the 6th due to rain.
  • LOT: Yuki Karakawa started the game and allowed a run on three hits and three walks over four innings.
  • HAN: Shintaro Fujinami started the game and gave up a run on three hits and two walks over three innings of work. He faced fourteen hitters and struck out four.
  • HAN: 6th round draft pick Suguru Iwazaki entered the game in the 4th and tossed three shutout innings. He gave up three hits and struck out three.  Iwazaki put runners on second and third with one out in the 6th then struck out Daichi Suzuki swinging and pinch-hitter Chad Huffman looking.
  • HAN: Ryota Arai hit a solo home run off Yuki Karakawa in the 2nd.
