Yomiuri Giants

  • Ryuya Matsumoto started a Kyoiku League game against Rakuten on Tuesday. He threw four shutout innings while giving up one hit.  Source: Nikkan Sports 3/4/2014
  • Yuki Koyama returned to Tokyo on Monday evening and rejoined Ni-gun practices at Giants Stadium on Tuesday.  Koyama stayed back and rested in Miyazaki after camp ended on the February 28 because he had the flu.  Source: Nikkan Sports 3/4/2014
