Yomiuri Giants

  • Kan Otake's next start could come on the 27th against his former teammates.  Depending on how things work out, the opposing pitcher on the mound might be Kenta Maeda. Source: Daily Sports 4/22/2014 ... Assuming Otake pitches on the 27th, working backwards, Tetsuya Utsumi will get the start on the 26th and Toshiya Sugiuchi on the 25th.  This will allow the Giants to split two lefty starters with a righty during the Hiroshima series (25th-27th).
