Rakuten Eagles

  • 1st round draft pick Yuki Matsui set a franchise record on Wednesday by walking five hitters in the 1st inning. Source: Sponichi 4/24/2014 ... The Seibu Lions apparently think Matsui has nothing to learn at Ni-gun and would do well to stay at Ichi-gun -- Ni-gun may not be enough of a challenge and doing well there does not mean he will do well at Ichi-gun.
