  • Tomoyuki Sugano could end up making all his starts in May on five days of rest, including his next start on May 5 against Chunichi at Nagoya Dome.  Three of his starts in April were also on five days of rest. On Tuesday, Sugano became the fourth player in franchise history to win games against every team in the Central League before the end of April.  The other three: Hideo Fujimoto (seven wins, seven teams, 1950), Takehiko Bessho (five teams, eight wins, 1950; six teams, six wins, 1952), and Tatsuyoshi Yasuhara (five wins, five teams, 1956).   • Shintaro Fujinami has the baseball he hit for his first career home run.  The fan that caught the ball at Mazda Stadium on the 15th agreed to exchange it for a practice t-shirt, autographed ball, and baseball card.  Fujinami plans to give the baseball to his parents.
