The media learned today that 3rd round draft pick Hiromi Oka not only suffered a ligament tear in his left ankle, but also a lisfranc injury (fracture-dislocation) in his left foot. He is scheduled to go under the knife soon and will most likely need about five months for a full recovery.

Oka hurt his left foot while running to first during a Ni-gun game against Yakult on the 2nd.
